We create molecular technologies, materials, and devices that sense disease, visualize biology, deliver therapy, and restore biological function.

Philosophy of our research
Many biomedical technologies begin either with a molecule or with a device. We intentionally begin with both. We design molecules and materials around biological function, engineer them into useful platforms, and develop the sensing, imaging, therapeutic, or device technologies required to move them toward real-world applications.

Research platforms
Our research is not organized around individual diseases alone. We develop technology platforms capable of addressing multiple biomedical problems.
We create novel materials and molecular recognition systems capable of detecting nucleic acids, proteins, metabolites, and biological states.
Explore →We engineer materials capable of transporting therapeutic cargo to defined biological targets.
Explore →We design molecular probes that allow imaging technologies to visualize disease biology.
Explore →We develop engineered systems that reproduce, augment, or respond to biological function.
Explore →Translational journeys
Beyond just publishing: some discoveries become new scientific questions. Others become inventions, devices, clinical studies, licenses, partnerships, or companies. Here are some of those journeys.
